GeoDeo Natural Deodorant Review

Geodeo is a new natural deodorant that is great at eliminating odor.  There are numerous benefits to switching to a natural deodorant, and Geodeo is one of the best odor fighting natural deodorants.  Geodeo was developed by Naturally Fresh - so you know it's a great product - and it was created when Naturally Fresh had an eco-technology breakthrough.  This breakthrough lead to one of the finest chemical-free deodorants on the market.

This eco-technology breakthrough created a Detox Complex, and Geodeo utilizes this Detox Complex to help fight odor and remove toxins from the underarms.  The Detox Complex uses Vitamin E, which can help to fight the formation of free radicals.  This helps to keep any potentially harmful free radicals away from the underarm area.  The Detox Complex is also great, because it fights odor on the cellular level.  It uses enzymes that destroy odor causing agents, and this leads to long lasting odor protection.  Many deodorants can irritate and dry out the skin, but Geodeo has included bamboo and aloe to help nourish the skin.  It also uses volcanic minerals and Icelandic algae to help purify the skin and remove underarm toxins.  The Detox Complex created by Geodeo isn't only a great way to fight odor, but it can also help to maintain underarm health by eliminating toxins.

Geodeo doesn't contain any harmful chemicals, and this is probably its best quality.  Many deodorants that are sold today have chemicals that can cause numerous ailments.  Chemicals, like sodium lauryl sulfate, and preservatives, like parabens, can cause serious damage to the body's organs.  Using natural deodorants is a great way to start eliminating these harmful chemicals from your life.

Geodeo is an innovative brand new natural deodorant.  Naturally Fresh had an eco-technology breakthrough that created the Detox Complex.  The Detox Complex, which is found in Geodeo, is a great way to fight underarm odor and toxins.  If you're looking for a natural deodorant that is tough on odor, but gentle on the skin try Geodeo.

GeoDeo comes in Unscented, Ocean and Island.

Sweating in Winter? Try Naturally Fresh Crystal Deodorants

Just because it's winter doesn't mean that you have to ditch your deodorant, especially natural deodorants. A lot of people report that they sweat as much in winter as they do in summer, they just don't notice it that much. Blame it on the layers and layers of clothes that you put on during winter and you'll be sure to sweat, especially when you get out from the chilly outdoors into heated buildings.

You might not mind sweating during winter because most winter clothes are designed to wick moisture from the body. However, the bacteria that may thrive underneath moist conditions may be a problem. You may still need natural deodorants to help you fight these odor-causing bacteria from forming.

Natural deodorants, like Naturally Fresh Crystal Deodorant, is an effective way to prevent body odor even in winter. It does not block your sweat glands but create an environment that is hostile to odor-causing bacteria, leaving you smelling fresh all day.

Naturally Fresh Crystal Deodorants are made from potassium alum which has slightly larger molecules than aluminum. This prevents your skin from absorbing the potassium alum, leaving it on your skin and not in your circulation system. Yet, even when Naturally Fresh does not prevent you from sweating, you are sure not to be worried about smelling funky even in the most sweat-inducing situations.

Because they come from natural ingredients, you are sure that these deodorants are hypoallergenic and will not cause the irritation and itching that comes with toxic deodorants. Some people complain that ordinary deodorants leave them with rashes because these deodorants contain chemicals, such as triclosan, parabens, propylene glycol, and aluminum chlorohydrate, aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex gly.

Another upside on using natural deodorants is that they do not cause any yellow staining on your clothes or that white stripe that can often be seen when using stick deodorants. Because of these benefits, natural deodorants in wintertime should be on top of your list to keep you from embarrassing body odors.

Top 5 Questionable Chemicals in Deodorants

Some people may go to great lengths to smell clean and fresh, but how far are you willing to go for your health? According to health experts, deodorants may contain ingredients that are connected to several health problems ranging from Alzheimer's disease to breast cancer. So you might want to consider natural deodorants to replace these chemical deodorants when you read this list of ingredients:

  1. Aluminum - Aluminum is used in almost all ordinary antiperspirants and deodorants in the market today. If you look at the label of your deodorant or antiperspirant, you might see aluminum in different forms, such as aluminum oxide, aluminum zirconium, or other aluminum-based compounds. Studies have connected aluminum to Alzheimer's disease and breast cancer. However, these studies have not been conclusive. But it would be wise to err on the safe side. For one thing, the way aluminum works as an antiperspirant shows that it clogs the sweat glands in the armpits and gets absorbed in the body. In fact, one study shows that aluminum compounds were seen in blood samples even after 14 to 44 days after applying an antiperspirant just once. If you think about this and the fact that aluminum does not have a biological function, you'd wonder what will happen if you apply aluminum-containing deodorants or antiperspirants every day since adolescence.
  2. Parabens - Parabens are included in antiperspirants and deodorants as well as other cosmetics to prevent bacterial and fungal growth in these products. You will recognize parabens in the following forms: methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, isobutylparaben, butylparaben, and benzylparaben.  Some studies have shown that parabens mimic body hormones like estrogen, which might disrupt endocrine activity.
  3. Triclosan- Triclosan is used in antiperspirants or deodorants because they inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria, but did you know that triclosan is registered as a pesticide by the Environmental Protection Agency. Animal studies have shown that triclosan affects how hormones are regulated, but its effects on humans are not yet known. While the FDA has ruled that triclosan is not hazardous to humans, they are reviewing its safety in light of several studies that question its safety to humans. Triclosan produces chloroform when it is mixed with water and chloroform is a probable carcinogen and should be avoided.
  4. Propylene Glycol - Propylene glycol is a penetration enhancer so that substances can easily become absorbed in the skin. Because it is a by-product of petroleum, propylene glycol may cause allergic reactions in some people. The body cannot process and eliminate propylene glycol, so this might affect infants, pregnant women, and those who are having kidney problems.
  5. Talc - This innocuous substance is found in some baby products and its presence in deodorants may not trigger any warning signs. However, talc can contain asbestos and crystalline silica because its manufacture is not regulated. Talc has been linked to ovarian cancer and formation of tumors in animals.
To avoid these five ingredients in regular deodorants and antiperspirants, use natural deodorants like Naturally Fresh Crystal Deodorants. Unlike other deodorants which have chemicals that get absorbed in the skin, natural deodorants such as Naturally Fresh do not get absorbed in the skin and only block the pores. For all day freshness without the threat of dangerous chemicals, try natural deodorants today.

Why Use Crystal Deodorants

Crystal Deodorants. Huh? I didn't know they existed until a good friend told me about Naturally Fresh. One of the most embarrassing problems in personal care is to have body odor and that's why people are fixated about deodorants. But how sure are you about the chemicals that comprise your deodorants? You may be smelling fresh all day, but at what cost?

Most synthetic deodorants use harmful ingredients like aluminum that are absorbed by the body. Aluminum has been linked to diseases, such as cancer and Alzheimer's disease. That's why all natural crystal deodorants are safer alternatives to chemical deodorants.

Crystal deodorants like Naturally Fresh Crystal Deodorant is just as effective as chemical deodorants, but they are safer because they contain naturally occurring elements, such as potassium alum and aloe vera.

Naturally Fresh Crystal Deodorant additionally does not clog your pores and allows your body to release the toxins from your body. It does not leave any white residue in clothes that are so annoying when you're using synthetic deodorant sticks.

Because the ingredients are natural, anyone can use crystal deodorants from the young to the elderly. So if your young one has some problems with body odor, crystal deodorants are the way to go. You don't have to worry about any harsh ingredients being absorbed by your children. What's so great about crystal deodorants is that it can be in the form of a stick or a spray.
